Roadmap: evidence first, then the workspace, then the market
We invest in the order the evidence allows, not all at once. Paid briefs first, done with analysts; the workspace when clients repeat; the trust side when buyers use it; more jurisdictions, licensed feedback and the API when the costs are known. Five operating metrics decide each step.
| Stage | Delivered | Evidence required before expanding |
|---|---|---|
| 0 to 3 months | Analyst-assisted paid company briefs in the US and Singapore; one source format and one report format | Five to ten paying design partners, including clients outside the group |
| 3 to 6 months | Private investigation workspace, entity matching, report export, monitor lists | Repeat purchases or renewals; entity mismatches and errors tracked and corrected |
| 6 to 12 months | Trust Workspace, company-supplied documents, AI Assurance Dossier; Hong Kong, Taiwan and Japan coverage | Clients use it to complete vendor reviews or answer enterprise procurement |
| 12 to 24 months | Canada, Australia, New Zealand, the UK and Malta; licensed review data; API and MCP; certification readiness at scale; evaluate own-review collection | Data and review costs under control; external revenue growing |
| 24 months and after | AI Visibility at scale; certification programmes across frameworks; data licensing to AI providers | Margin after data, partner and analyst cost; mismatch rate below target |
Five metrics
- Hours to a deliverable brief, by depth and jurisdiction
- Source coverage of material claims: share with a complete chain
- Entity mismatch rate: look-alikes caught after release
- Repeat use: clients who order a second brief or renew a monitor
- Gross margin after data, partner and analyst cost
Profile counts and web traffic are tracked but never replace these. The platform's cost is not AI tokens; it is data licensing, entity resolution, human review, updates and dispute handling. Those are what decide whether the business works.
The long-term value is the same file used across a company's life: first to decide on a partner, then to monitor it, then, when the company itself raises money, sells to an enterprise or expands abroad, to be understood. That file connects the Magellan Global services and stands on its own for clients outside the group.
