Checklists by purpose

Vendor onboarding, partner selection, AI supplier review, investment screen, sponsor check for immigration, acquisition pre-screen. Each checklist sets which sections are mandatory, what depth, and which open questions block sign-off.

The Diligence Brief

Quick (identity, standing, sanctions, courts, IP; three business days), Standard (adds ownership, filings, regulators, news, licensed feedback; about a week) or Enhanced (adds partner enquiries in phase-2 and phase-3 jurisdictions, interviews, document review; about two weeks). Prices on the pricing page; official document fees at cost.

Human review

An analyst reviews every brief before it is released: entity match confirmed, contradictions resolved or recorded, open questions listed. The reviewer's name and date are on the report.

Exports

PDF report with the evidence chain as an appendix; CSV of claims; a share link for the client with the same chain visible.

Questions

Can my own team work in it?

Yes. Seats for your analysts, counsel and external advisers, with roles; your notes and documents stay private to your workspace.

Is the brief legal advice?

No. It is evidence, organised. Where a legal question arises, LegalMatrix or your own counsel is engaged separately; the brief says so where it matters.

What about jurisdictions you have not launched?

Phase 2 and 3 jurisdictions are covered with stated limits and partner enquiries; the brief marks every section with its coverage level and never implies completeness it does not have.
