The OpenDossier brand
A folder, opening. The mark is two panels of a dossier seen as it opens, the spine between them left white; the wordmark is a geometric sans drawn as outlines. One colour, teal, carries the brand. OpenDossier is a member of the Magellan Global family of brands; the family relationship is expressed through the signature line and the shared tone, not by altering the logo.
Construction and clear space
The clear space on every side is x, the height of the O in the wordmark. Nothing else enters that zone: no text, rules, other logos or edges of the page.
Proportions
- The mark is 271 units wide and 331 tall; the wordmark cap height is 181 units; the gap between mark and wordmark is 58 units
- In the horizontal lockup the cap line of the wordmark sits 90 units below the top of the mark; the baseline sits 53 units above the mark's lowest point
- The stacked lockup places the mark at 125% centred above the wordmark with a 54-unit gap
- The tagline lockup sets 'A Magellan Global Brand' in Poppins Medium at a quarter of the cap height, left-aligned to the wordmark

Below the minimum, use the mark alone. The tagline lockup is not used below 40 px high.
Colour versions
Teal on white or paper is the primary version. White on teal for dark surfaces. Black for single-colour print. Navy only inside Magellan Global group documents where all family brands are shown in the group colour.

Teal is the only brand colour: logo, links, buttons, verified states and the dossier header. Teal light marks partial coverage and verified chips; the sun is reserved for open questions and warnings; Magellan navy appears only in the group signature and group documents. Print: Teal ≈ Pantone 7476 C, CMYK 92/45/45/25 (confirm on proof).
Typography
The wordmark
The wordmark is artwork, supplied as outlines in every file. It is never retyped, re-spaced or set in a font, and the mark and wordmark are never separated except in the mark-alone uses above.
Supporting typefaces
Jost (weights 500 to 700) for headings, product names and numbers in the interface: a geometric sans in the same family of forms as the wordmark. Inter (400 to 600) for body text, tables and the dossier itself, chosen for legibility at small sizes and in five scripts. Both are open-source and self-hostable. In documents where neither is installed, Poppins or Arial for headings and Arial for body.
Voice

Writing the name
OpenDossier, one word, capital O and capital D, in running text. Never Open Dossier, Opendossier or OPENDOSSIER. The domain is written as opendossier.com.

In the Magellan Global family
OpenDossier keeps its own mark and colour. Membership of the group is stated, not drawn: the line 'A Magellan Global Brand' with the group symbol appears in the footer of every page, in the tagline lockup, and on the first page of any document. In group materials that show all brands together, the navy version may be used so that the family reads as one.
